The Boat

Named; Meganova – deriving from the latin name for the Humpback whale “Megaptera Novaeanglie” which directly translated means Big wings of new England.

We have upgraded, designed and implemented the highest standards of safety on our vessel, all with whale expeditions in mind.

The vessel – “Meganova”, for its class it is the safest vessel in the region with mandatory lifejackets, EPIRB, registered VHF & MMSI, additional buoyancy and registered for less capacity than the vessel is built for allowing ultimate safety & comfort.

Additionally we have a built in fuel tank for extended range & a toilet – or “loo with a view” as we like to call it!  for the longer expeditions.
